Some errors are really obvious, you are trying to select a column that doesn&#8217;t exist, assigning a variable that hasn&#8217;t been declared, that kind of errors. But there are also errors that you don&#8217;t run into that often, maybe it&#8217;s even the first time you run into this error. What do you do when you run into a new error, i.e. new to you. You try to find out what the error is and what might be a resolution. Of course there is the <a title=\"Oracle Documentation\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/technology\/documentation\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Oracle documentation<\/a> where you can find all the errors and which might help you with the resolution.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But there is also a nice website that helps you with all the possible errors in Oracle. <a title=\"Oracle Database Error Code\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ora-code.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Oracle Database Error Code<\/a> holds all the errors possible in Oracle (to my knowledge) and the nice thing is that you can replace the www part&nbsp;with the actual error code. <a href=\"http:\/\/ora-00904.ora-code.com\">http:\/\/ora-00904.ora-code.com<\/a> gives you the error text for &#8216;invalid identifier&#8217;, <a title=\"http:\/\/ora-06502.ora-code.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/ora-06502.ora-code.com\/\">http:\/\/ora-06502.ora-code.com\/<\/a>&nbsp;gives you the error text for PL\/SQL: numeric or value error. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bar-solutions.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/ora-00904.jpg\" atomicselection=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px\" height=\"106\" alt=\"ora-00904\" src=\"http:\/\/bar-solutions.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/ora-00904-thumb.jpg\" width=\"240\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\"\/><\/a>I decided to write a small application that retrieves the webpage and then parses the error text, cause and action from the webpage and then displays it in the window.
