Oracle has released the first version of project raptor. It is Oracles attempt to create an IDE for the developers of PL/SQL. Completely written in Java. First impression is that is is quite a nice tool, though I am not sure I will discard PL/SQL Developer for using this. I need to play around with it a bit more. The really nice thing I saw in Raptor though, was the ability to insert snippets. Only thing is that the snippets are not really simple to administer.
