Today I came across two articles on (big) companies starting to attack Google. First one I read was that Oracle Whips Google-like Search into Shape for Enterprises. Oracle says that they found a blind spot that Google has left unexplored. They want to provide a google-like interface for the users to find the information they need. They will only be shown information they have access rights to.
Then, there is also Microsoft who says they will be better than Google soon. In six months they will have a search engine that gives better results than Google does. The software will not be bundled with Vista, because of legislation and the fact that Google is on the internet, which would be a big disadvantage.
